About Me
Hi, I’m Grace! I’m a photographer and writer based in Denver, Colorado.
I began my career as a journalist with The Gayly, where I focused on mental health and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Through my work, journalism has given communities access to important resources and has served as a voice for those who might not always be heard. Over time, my writing has shifted from informational articles to pieces rooted in my own personal experience. That vulnerable shift allowed me to connect with my readers on a more intimate level, lessen stigma around mental health and related LGBTQIA+ issues, and share stories that inspire and empower.
When I picked up my first camera, I quickly realized how naturally photography complimented my writing. Where words could explain, images could show. My camera soon became a constant companion on my two year journey across the country. Traveling with my camera has allowed me to experiment with different genres and capture moments that felt alive, whether it was the electricity of a concert, the quiet strength of a mountain landscape, or the individuality of a portrait.
After my years spent traveling, I’ve found a home base in Denver. While I still love adventure, my focus now is on building lasting connections with clients in this community. I specialize in portraits, concerts, and landscapes where each offers a unique opportunity to tell a story.
At the heart of both my photography and writing is the same belief: stories matter. My goal is to empower, inspire, and capture the strength and beauty in life’s experiences.
